A New Kind of School
If it’s not obvious yet, we aren’t your average school.
Since opening our doors back in 2003, we’ve done things a little differently here at The School of Arts + Enterprise. Aside from providing students with some of the highest quality education in the area, we’ve also put a significant amount of time into making sure that the students here receive an education that is culturally-relevant. This is incredibly important.
In fact, it’s more important than ever. In today’s world - one that’s increasingly calling for more skills outside of your normal curriculum - we believe that it’s essential to equip our children with the knowledge it takes to succeed outside of the classroom, as well as in it.
That thinking is what has led us to everything we do here. From our arts and business curriculum, to the creation of our recording studios and galleries - even our listing in the US News & World Report as one of the Best High Schools in the Nation.
We hang our hat on a distinguished history of nurturing talented, creative individuals through some of the most important years of their lives. With an uncommonly high acceptance rate into college and universities among our senior class, we rest our pride in the profound work our students showcase year in and year out. We are proud to be an Arts School Network National Exemplary School and a California Department of Education Exemplary Arts Program.
We’re open to all who dare to be brilliant. No student will ever be admitted or denied based on their financial situation, because every child deserves an opportunity for the type of education that lasts a lifetime. We are a tuition-free, locally authorized public charter school, located in the Downtown Pomona Arts Colony - right where we belong.
And there’s still more work to do.
