As Unique As You
The School of Arts and Enterprise (The SAE) is a tuition-free, audition-free 6th-12th grade charter school that offers top-quality arts education. So what does that mean when you compare us to traditional middle and high schools? We like to think of ourselves as unconventional. Creative. Unique. And maybe a little bit weird.
We Speak Your Language
When you step onto our campus, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a community of artists who want to hear what you have to say. You’ll find middle school students who are picking up paint brushes or memorizing lines for the very first time. You’ll meet high school students who are driven to pursue their lifelong passions in performing arts. And you’ll be taught by working professionals in their fields - artists who have deep industry connections and relevant experience. At The SAE we share a passion for artistic expression - and we can’t wait to help you develop yours!
We’re Open To All
Enrollment at The SAE is tuition-free and audition-free, which keeps our school open to everyone. With 40% of our students commuting from over 35 different cities, you don’t even have to live in the Pomona area to attend The SAE. All that’s required is an interest in the arts, and a willingness to develop your voice. We value diversity, and our small school environment enables us to get to know our students personally - and celebrate what makes each one unique.
We Take A Different Path
Our flexible learning model doesn’t look like traditional middle or high schools. Curriculum is structured around block scheduling - giving our students plenty of time to work on projects and complete their homework each day. We have three campuses (Middle School, High School, and Arts & Enterprise) and each building is open after school hours for extra rehearsals or majors-based work. Our Enterprise curriculum teaches business skills and tools that will help you navigate a successful career in the arts after graduation. We are ready to support a path through middle and high school that is unique to you!
We Like to Have Fun
Four days a week we teach rigorous, academically challenging project-based curriculum that rivals what you might find in most top high schools. But on Wednesday afternoons, we take a break from our regular schedule and offer a variety of elective classes. Wednesday Afternoon Arts includes instruction in 15 different arts programs, so students can explore new interests and just enjoy making art without the pressures of portfolio reviews or community performances.
Ready to get off campus and explore? Each year The SAE takes field trips to support curriculum-based learning. It’s a fun way to learn about the business of art and get inspired at the same time!
Our unconventional tuition-free 6th-12th grades charter school welcomes all learners with a flexible curriculum that is as unique as each of our students. Want to find out more? Contact The School of Arts and Enterprise and enroll today.
